How do I counter Scholars mate?

I have played a lot of games against someone who always tries to scholars mate me. How do you stop it.

And white had to retreat leaving black better developed if he wants to continue with Qf5 just continue normally with Nf6

After 1 e4 e5 2 Qh5 Nc6, there are difficulties associated with 3 Bf4.

After 1 e4 e5 2 Qh5 Nc6 3 Bc4 g6 4 Qf5, it would not be my first choice to play 4...Nf6.

Honestly you can’t counter it. Once you see the queen come out it’s over. The scholars mate signals the end of days for any opposition. If you see it just resign it’s the only way trust me
