what is the purpose of 2. e4? it gives away a central pawn for no compensation.
How do I invent/publish my own opening?

It's called the Omega Gambit, but idk if its that good.

If you have no idea if it is any good, then there is no use in trying to invent it, let alone publish it!
SMH!

yeah I guess its kinda bad, I will try to invent another opening
You can't really invent a new opening. Almost all of the combinations of the first 1-3 moves have a name unless they are really trash, and even some that are bad have names, like the Ware Opening.

it probably is kinda hard but I think i made a better one, here it is: 1. f4 f5 2. b3 Nf6 3. Bb2
idk what to name it but, is this a good one or bad one?

As Optimissed mentioned, it's been done before, and Black has scored better than White. I'd say it's bad.
It's been done before.
I know it's the Bird's Opening but it's a variation of it i guess.
@Chessable_Bro
What FIDE ratings can benefit from chess publishing subscription?
I wonder if the spambot will answer you. Hmmm, difficult question.

It's worth the try 😎
Step 1: Find a non refutable opening variation
Step 2: Become a master level player.
Step 3: Play it and win with it alot
Step 4: Watch all the other masters copy and experiment with the opening as well.
It sounds kind stupid, but I made a response to the Indian, which is: 1. d4 Nf6 2. e4 Nxe4 3. c3 d5 4. Nf3
