How do I win the Sicilian Defense as Black

In the past, I've played some popular variations in the Sicilian Defense such as the Najdorf and the Dragon variations. I've memorized most of their theories(moves) but not much of their ideas. If some of you could explain to me some ideas of the Sicilian, that would be great . Thanks!

Exchange a flank pawn from a central pawn = positional advantage

Risk of getting mated = sharp play

Getting d5 in  = Black is better.

Get a book on it really, ask kindofspongey for some recommendations, we cant explain all of it in a forum.

And boy, I doubt you have learn most of their theories.

Maybe try Starting Out: The Sicilian, 2nd Edition by John Emms (2009)
