How should i react to that opening?

When someone instead of develop pieces, uses the queen, I don't know how to defend myself and I lose many pieces.

Please, help me :)

Thanks for reading, here is the FEN: (So, you can better understand)

[Date "????.??.??"]

[Result "*"]

[FEN "rnbqkb1r/ppQp1ppp/5n2/8/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNB1KBNR w KQkq - 0 5"]

What you have posted is a FEN not a PNG.

I presume the moves have been like..

It is not a good idea to bring the queen out so early as your opponent does

Here is why... The patzer Opening

NRTG

I believe 2...Nc6 is the book move defending the pawn followed by 3...Nf6 to threaten the Queen.

ReversedSherwood

Thanks! :)

Mr_Simix

Yes but after 4.Bb5 i thought it may be a bit more complicated to explain.

Mr_Simix

You're welcome !

1.e5 e5 2.Qh5?! Nf6 3.Qxe5+ Be7 isn't bad at all, either. Black gambits a pawn, and gets a nice advantage in development.

AutisticCath

This is something I used to struggle with myself and this is the way I go about:

petrikeckman

@newengland7: How about 8. Nh3 ? What then happens. Black doesn't win g-pawn?

ezjay1995

Or better yet, 8. h3 and the knight is trapped. Note that I've never seen a variation like this, but you can consider playing 5...Nd4 which will actually win the g-pawn.

pfren

This is neither the first, nor the last thread newengland7 is trolling.

Why do you try taking him seriously?

petrikeckman

Because I'm a quite newbie in chess. And this is first time I read his trolls.

Mr_Simix

@IM pfren  Yeap i thought that too !

AutisticCath

petrikeckman--Nxg5, Nxg5, Qxg5 black wins the g-pawn. Note that black will have two defenders--also, if Nh3, black can play d5 and both the bishop and knight are under attack so bishop would have to retreat back to c1 and black is clearly better.

IM pfren, why are you always such a jerk to me? Lighten up your mood and shave your beard.

petrikeckman

Bishop already is in c1. It would not have to retreat there.

DrSpudnik

Are the Parham trolls back in town?

AutisticCath

petrikeckman--f1, excuse me. I am so dislexic when it comes to algebraic notation.

AutisticCath

DrSpudnik--you should see how many Parham attack trolls there are on shredderchess.net. I actually started playing it there to prove it was unsound.

petrikeckman

I'm too, dislexic. That's why I first read only last move: 7... Ng4And black will win the g-pawn.

AutisticCath

petrikeckman, I think that last notation there was meant for something else. I also make typing errors.

And further, what IM pfren said about me--dismiss that. He trolled a forum I started by telling me to "look up any book on the dragon" missing that I had already said that I had been experimenting with the variation in that game. It takes a troll to know a troll and IM pfren will one day pay the price for his arrogance.
