Whenever i play d4 black most of the time goes for kid and throws the pawn in the king side and  i get mated is there any way to counter this

You don't want to castle in this position. Play Bf1 instead

Play Nc4 here.

@Frosty90233:

You might look into the Fianchetto Variation, where White fianchettoes his KB, which makes a Black K-side attack much harder and usually sets the game into a more positional struggle.

Or you can take the attack to Black with the Samisch. If your opponent doesn't know the Samisch you can often mate him with a straightforward attack.

you don't have to do c4

Here Spassky folds Fischer with the Samisch, until Fischer wins anyway.

Well im joking.

To be honest KID is my main repertoire and i hate meeting the main line and bayonet attack so u can learn those to crush black

The main line and Bayonet can be avoided.

A couple of recent books recommend this, and NIC Yearbooks 135 and 136 (2020) also show how to play it.  Instead of 7...Nc6, allowing White's Shenanigans in the Mar Del Plata (my problem is the 13.Rc1 line, not the Bayonet), play 7...exd4 8.Nxd4 Re8 9.f3 and now Black can go for solidity with 9...Nc6, with no problems at all, but winning chances may be lower, or risk it with 9...c6, going for the d5-break.  Probably the better line in a "must win" situation where 9.. Nc6 is clearly the better option when a draw is satisfactory.  Also, keep in mind, it is not one of those lines where Black plays for 2 results - Black does win at times in this line, just the draw ratio is much higher, like the exchange French, which I have won often with Black.

I created a study on Lichess about the Indian Defenses based off the book from Lars Schandorff. Schandorff goes for a Samisch Variation against the KID and provides a lot of sample games and shows a lot of different variations you will face and how to deal with them

It should have more than enough to get started. In fact, as White, I have a 63% win rate against it and the book definitely helped.
