you might think the Sicilian defense is a great defense against e4, but it's not true at all.

because after 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bc4 Nc6 4. d4 cxd4 5. Nxd4 Nxd4 6. Qxd4 * none of the black pieces can develop. if Nf6 then Bg5 and the problem persists.  also . 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nc3 Nc6 5. d4 cxd4 6. Nxd4 e6 7. Nxc6 bxc6 8. Bg5 h6 9. Bxf6 gxf6 10. Qf3 * black is not only unable to develop his pieces, but the e4 pawn will no matter what move black plays, allowing Qxc6+ and the rook is gone. @Tidobruce after 8... You just Play instead of h6 you play ..Bd7 Also your just trolling to get people angry and your analysis isn't good.

moral of the story, Sicilian defence is bad!  @TidoBruce

Marc esserman has a great book on the opening.

You cannot crush the Sicilian at all. There is no way to do it. You can probably achieve 0.2 at most for White. It depends on how you play against it.

Says a 1200 with membership that doesn't know anything about Sicilian.
