How to destroy the sicilian
Sort:
Sicilian is probably the worst choice if you don't want to learn theory. Look up the Owens Defense if you want a theory-light response to 1.e4.
Closed is good and more ideas-based than the Nf3 stuff. Obviously not as strong, but plenty strong enough at any level of play. 2.Nc3, 3.g3, 4.Bg2 sort of thing.
I play the sicilian as black and I am trying to find some way to play an opening which does not involve too much theory, how ever I am willing to spend some time to reaserch an opening. Nothing please on the 2.nf3 lines
