it is easy as long as u know all or most of the chess openings and their variants. i have tried for a chess opening that always allows white to win. but nothing came out of it.

it is definitely possible to invent a variation in an opening that already exists, but is it possible to invent in general a new opening? or at least, is it possible to invent a new variation that doesn't exist yet that is actually good?
