2.. Nf6 in the Scandinavian

From which, I play the porcupine variation against d4
How would black continue against those setups?
Finally, the "miserly" (according to a book I read) plan for white 3. c4
My question is - what is a good plan for black to continue the game after these continuations / what are other popular continuations by white, and how should those be dealt with?

You forgot to look at 3. Bb5+ with a possible retreat to c4, distorting Black's pawns and getting a piece developed.

Absolutely. Deal with this variation first and find a comfortable plan of play, because this is the most annoying of all of White's responses to the Modern Scandi.

What did I do? Well, I started playing the Sicilian.  :)

On the whole, I find the Scandinavian to be a one-trick pony. If you spend all your time learning/playing it, you'll never develop any depth as a player. Only by playing critical lines in stuff like 1. ... e5, 1. ... c5 or 1. ... e6 (OK, maybe the Caro too!) will you learn how to respond to 1. e4.

I used to play the "center-counter" as it was called back when I played it, and when I did, it was because I didn't want to "waste time" studying a lot of chess before a tournament. I look back with regret and warn away the unsuspecting.
