I just finished Chapter 2/3 of this book, which covers openings as white/black
I'm confused about where to go from here, am i supposed to just rely on the fundamentals
(Developing towards center/etc), or should i be learning all the different openings he listed in these chapters?
I should clarify, I mean what should i do before i continue the next chapter of this book... I'm not asking what is best to learn as a beginner, but more how to read/go thru this book

I haven't read it ( planning on doing that soon ) but you should learn the openings for white he showed that you like, the defenses for black that you like, and if you're black and white does something you have never seen before, just stick to the principles. That's what i've learned from levy's videos anyway. BTW, if you see this message, could you tell me if the book is actually good or not ?

I have gone through it. It was my first chess book what he shows you about openings is at the time nearly everything you have to know. For sure you can improve your knowledge a little bit but chances are your opponents won’t play deep in opening lines. So like he tells you look for an opening from his book for white and two for black one against e4 and one for d4 and get experience in these lines by playing them. I hope I could help you and have fun reading
