I love Negi's books and the current recommendations are probably good up to like GM level with only small updates needed after that. The h5 Caro is probably the only huge admission.

Negi's series offers principled and testing lines for White. I especially liked the lines recommended against the French and the Caro Kann and found them very testing and pleasant to play for White. I personally do not work on openings myself .(Infact I don't even know to use an engine properly) So I prefer to follow recommendations from reliable authors like Negi.
Have the recommendations stood the test of time? Are there any serious lines omitted or misevaluated? Have any major improvements been found for either colours in any of his main lines that change evaluations?
The one obvious omission is the 9...h5 line of the 5...exf6 Caro Kann (For good reason as it wasn't played back in 2014)
Are there others? Can the books be relied on for serious tournament games today?
Incase anyone has read Negi's books(especially the 1st one) and is also well updated with current theory, please share your thoughts.
Thanks
