The Guicco Piano just isn't really an opening I'd ever be interested in. The Caro-Kann on the other hand has a long history of use by World Champions...

such as.................... lol, i don't know anyone who regularly uses the caro kann

the Guicco builds a strong pawn center after e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 Bc4 Bc5 c3 Nf6 d4

Capablanca, Botvinnik, Smyslov, Tal, Petrosian, Karpov all regularly used it. Even Tal, weird, huh?
