i always hurt 1Nf3 to balance things. the spanish game already have a unfair advantage since every vote to scotch, italian, four knights, spanish, reversed philodor and stuff like that goes into 1.Nf3. its as many openings as the rest of the remaining openings together.

I propose an idea: Kill d4 and Bc4 and then it will be a clash between 2.Nf3 and 2.f4
in 1.Nf3 you have the scoth, giuoco piano and pianissimo, four knights, ponziani, glek system, belgrade gambit, two knights defence, max lange attack and so on. is as many openings as the other openings in the competition together but they are all put in "1,Nf3" for a insane handicap for the other openings. if 1.Nf3 wins this thread is completely meaningless and tells us nothing since half of the openings won. oh you can als play ruy lopez after 1.Nf3. i say kill the Nf3beast:)
