Go to wiki and search chess openings, and you will have a good time getting used to studying me As for me, I'm studying the bird, and used it as a dangerous hawk of fiery destruction!
i am new at chess and looking for someone to help me

Actually, if you are new, the first thing you should be studying is the Endgame and Middlegame. The opening is the road to the main game. After you're off the road, you're alone and if you only studied openings, you will lose.
I suggest you study 1 or 2 basic openings. Don't go into all the variations and lines, just get the hang and feel of the opening and understand the basic ideas. This way, u won't get caught off guard. But after this, focus more on the middlegame/endgame
im looking for someone who will add me to friends and occasionally play me and teach me what they can. i know the rules, but i am very unfamiliar with openings and long term strategy.
