I hate the Bishop's openning

How do I take the a2-g8 diagonal away from white when they play the bishops openning?

This openning annoys me to no end because it restricts my piece's movement and feel I cant develop to good squares.

1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 doesn't restrict anything nor does it prevent you from making perfectly sound developing moves, the only "problem" for Black when facing dud openings like this one is deciding on which of several perfectly sound lines to play against it. Start looking it up in the Game Explorer here and try out some lines that look good to you for Black. And start learning basic elements of opening theory which will help you face openings you're not familiar with.

All of the below are working links, check them out:

You could be cheeky and play 2...Bc5 Laughing

The modern master to play the bishops opening was Larsen.

Conquistador

I would also like to point out 2...Nc6 to offer a transposition to the Italian Game.

Well Larsen really liked to play unusual openings such as the bird's and nimzo-larsen.
