I choose the King's Gambit, the Ruy and the Scotch.
My opponent plays c5.
I offer myself up for cannibalization.

thank you for your answer ( but cannibalizm isn't an option, -- the tournament isn't MMC- Mixed Martial Chess ) thank you again for your answer bye
Dear Shivsky, I just looked at your profile, you have a rating of 1940 and a rating of 1718 and I know they are two different ratings but out of curiosity would you be more of a 1718 player or more of a 1940. ( not issueing a challenge here or anything - my rating wavers between 1300 and 1400 )
More of a 1718 player.
Online Correspondence Chess ratings do not correlate well with actual tournament playing strength. A lot of chess.com threads cover the "but why not" and the reasons for this difference.
Though for most people, the online/turn-based chess ratings are WAAAY higher ... present company included.
Hyptheotically, if you were put on a desert Island with other castaways AND the only way to get off the island and back home was to win a chess tournament AND you were only allowed to play anyone of only three chess openings which three chess openings would you put into your reportoire for that tournament. Which three openings would you think are the most valueable. If you could bring four which opening would be the fourth. If you could only bring two and use two which two openings would you bring to use???? Just using those do you think you might get off the Island????
