Anand played this against Gelfand. Yelena Dembo in her book "Play the Grunfeld" recommends 3...e5.
There are other, maybe better ways to avoid the Gruenfeld
White must be ready for a symmetrical english (2...c5), but the anglo-benoni is quite fun so it works out. The Gruenfeld that black can reach in the diagrams I showed is quite pleasant for white. White keeps his nice knight on c3 or black makes big concessions in his king side structure. ''
