In need of a solid opening for white

Edit: It's strange that im not doing well with the queens gambit, because 90% of the time i get a better position in the opening! Idk, mabye its just not a good opening for the middle and end game.
Im probably gonna try out the kings indian or catalan, which i already know quite well, and see if that helps at all.
If you get a better position in the opening, you're most definitely crashing in the middlegame. A problem many players face is that they just focus on the opening, and they don't actually study other aspects of the game. For example, if I were to ask a 500 what the difference between statics and dynamics are, they would look at me like I just asked them the diameter of the Milky Way in miles rounded to the nearest thousandth to the power of the circumference of exactly 1,581 suns in centimeters. That's why they're 500.
Alright, let me test you a little. What is the move that secures a draw for black in this position?
Now, what's the move that wins for white in this position?
If you don't know the answers to either of these questions, you need to go on YouTube and study king and pawn endgames right now. Chess isn't just about openings.

Well, rather, for the first position- what is the move that secures a draw for black using a drawing strategy in endgames?

(also applies for the second one bc i keep forgetting to mention basic details)

Iv been using the English and it's been working really great. But I change it up a bit on the first few moves. Eventually you'll start making your own openings.
@Sea_Turtle uh oh guys watch out, we got a grandmaster here.
