Opening sequence 1. e4, e5 2. Nf3 g5 gambiting the e5 pawn..

This is my game emloying the Du30 gambit in a correspondence chess 1 day per move against my chessmate friend Marco Corales. Though i played Nd6 on the 20th move in this game wherein my opponent was force to resign because of a hopeless position,  i missed to deliver the obvious 2 or 3 move mate. (depending on White's King reply).

This game was played in bullet chess.

I'm officialy renaming it to 'Garbage gambit'.

Well "RooksAreCannons" Thats the result of your ignorance  of the Du30 gambit the correct reply to white's d4 move is h6 not exd4..

The question is how this will play against a grandmaster.

HOW? well Shanu2008 all i can say is just play it with confidence. No matter who is your opponent is.. Even Magnus Carlsen once said said it all applies to whatever opening you will be using. Just keep on practicing the opening and know all the variations and sub-variations.

Do you realize that nobody is gonna call this garbage the Du30 becouse you said so?

It has been played plenty on times and it's absolute trash and no, h6 is not the best move after d4. Keep wasting your time in this.

hahaha Im not forcing you to use this gambit RooksAreCannons actually it is not the opening perse that is garbage. Im not surprise about your low rating, it is reflected on how you analyzed this gambit.. FYI h6 was also suggested by Stockfish in that d4 variation..

MrBeanoni

RooksAreCannons mind your own business. go create your own forum and make your own gambit opening name this gambit has no particular name yet go check the ECO and search it, just wanted to name it. Though this gambit exist in online games but it doesn't exist yet in a formal/ Internatlonal tournament.. This gambit is under the King's Knight Opening. no specific name exist. FYI

I know it is not the official name yet. This particular name is not yet included in ECO. And besides there are lot of chess openings w/c has many names for example The Sokolsky Opening (also known as the Orangutan or Polish). and  FYI do you know the Dunst Opennig? it has plenty of names also..

The Dunst Opening is a chess opening where White opens with the move:

1. Nc3

This fairly uncommon opening may have more names than any other: it is also called the Heinrichsen Opening, Baltic Opening, Van Geet Opening, Sleipnir Opening, Kotrč's Opening, Meštrović Opening, Romanian Opening, Queen's Knight Attack, Queen's Knight Opening, Millard's Opening, Knight on the Left, and (in German) der Linksspringer...

And take note: I am not taking credit as the inventor of this rare gambit..I AM ONLY RE-INTRODUCING IT. i can promote this gambit and be known in the Phil. as Du30 gambit and it can be known also in some parts of the world as "Eagle's Claw Gambit" as simple as that.

Now the relevant question, what is your experience with it?
Prometheus_Fuschs

Ronpaulsrustedball... may i add to your false accusation that i did "PLAGIARIZED did you know that the"London System" w/c we know today, it's original name was "MASON VARIATION" it was 1st invented by James Mason. And in 1922 London Tournament some critics of the London system called it as "old man’s variation" or the "boring system".
