The ADHD School of Chess - Today's kids are digital ADHD freaks. 95% of games that I play against players under 20 involved wild tactics where if you miss one tactical trick, he'll mate you in 8 moves. However, if you survive, and reach this thing called an endgame, or if you reach a "static" position in a middlegame that requires a lot of positional play, even a 2200 teenager (again, about 95% of them) are just totally clueless because they have zero understanding of static features and endgames. A backwards pawn? A hole? Philidor's Draw? Lucena's Position? Yeah! They are CLUELESS!
So there you have it - the fourth school of chess - The ADHD School of Chess!
