It's about as playable as any other response.
I typically play 2. d3 against it.

Here is an interesting caro kann game I played. If I can call it caro Kann because my opponent made huge mistakes in opening phase.
The Caro-Kan is a good opening, but you must study a lot the advanced variation
lol CK is my go to.
Statistics show that there are many draw games in Caro Kann. I believe because of that fact Caro Kann is good defence, and we all know that White has advance from the start.
