MarcoBR444, you are a genius.

Not a chessgenius.

HIs comments were actually trolling.

If I am an Indian should I play only Indian defenses?? Its nothing like that. It depends on your chess tastes and styles. Your favorite openings and your openings.

This was a serious post. But for a joke post I really appreciate Marco.
Good job Marco!

If Kings play chess they only play King's Gambit? Marco you are a King you must play only King's gambit from now!

Actually we all have hints of every dna out there...we are all mixed. So the best thing to do is channel the nation who defeated the enemy nation in a humiliating way. For example against the french defense you must play the Dresden Attack. Against the russian defense you play the Accelerated Mongol (Unfortunately it hasnt been discovered yet...thats why everyone hates the russian). Against any opening named after an animal you should play the dragon...but against the crab you should specifically play the chinese dragon. Be careful about committing too early to a dragon however because obviously the opponent might play the st george defense.

You have redeemed this thread.

To the OP's query: affirmative.

All Christians should play St George defense.

No, the King's Gambit is the most Christian Opening.  It has died, like Christ the King, who gambitted his life, it has risen, though wrongfully so as the King's Gambit does nothing more than Gambit your own King, and supposedly it will come again.  When?  Nobody knows!

well surely this opening will come again, but perhaps not with lots of fanfare.

perhaps all king's gambit chessplayers will suddenly dissapear and have joy in their games. I don't know.

but I don't trust the might FIDE or any of the leading gm's to anticipate the day of us when king's gambit chess players will be vindicated.

Good advice.....The thing is, we may "adopt" a favourite player, say Tal, try and emulate his play and think "I am a tactical player" etc etc...It's like saying I'm a man and therefore no good at cooking. It's a restrictive inadvertently egotistical way of dealing with the world.

Seeking "Universality" is the way to go. Viewed by an external observer we may be seen to have a "style", but that's irrelevant.

King's Gambit means "king's exchange", but it refers to the exchanging of the king's pawn.

Then this opening does not fit me. It is a funny opening, but it is hard to master it.

Because King's Gambit is very dangerous and leads to a sharp game, full of exchanges. That is why if you want to play it, you need to understand the sacs and tricky checkmates.

marco, id like you to make Pawn Pusher 5: Battle of the Patzers, in which you play the chess world championship match against Robert new Alekhine

43 comments in 2 days isn't anything special. Some of the hottest threads get over 100 within hours.

I play the french deffence, and I have never had to change my opening.  You are cramped, but not as much as these people say.  Plus, you will hold many counter-attack cards, which force white to stay on his toes.  after the center is busted open, the game is very tactical

Then why not sicillian

Good-Luck-Dude

Unfortunately, I have analyzed a couple of your games MarcoBR444 and you Do not play the Brazilian defense. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined cry.png
