Qb4 in these lines is a very uncommon move yet its the best in many of these lines
Is the Benko gambit refuted?

this is what the openings101 thing showed
black can do better
This is just a bad position. You are just hoping to somehow trade Queens, but what happens if White plays 15.b3?
Here White played 18.Qe1 and eventually won, but 18.Qe3! Nc8 19.Ne2 Qa6 20.Bc3 is much stronger.
The previous one is just equal- Black has much more active pieces, and that bishop on h4 isn't such a great piece.

why is that game relevent to this conversation? its obvious that black played that opening inaccurately and ended up losing because of how dumb he played

Up to move 14, it is identical your "good" suggestion at #46.
"its obvious that black played that opening inaccurately" - well, can YOU suggest an improvement for Black after 15.b3?
Or just admit that you don't know what you're talking about...

also if you view chess.com on light mode you are a menace
the benko gambit is refutable above 2500 level id say
white gets alot of activity if black knows nothing
heres an example of black protecting e7
