My best opening as black! It's really solid and it does have as much variations as other openings so less confusing but super, I think anyone who hasn't played it should try it... atleast once in a while

Perfectly sound, but not everyone's cup of tea.
I will never knock someone for playing the Caro-Kann, Sicilian, French, or 1...e5. The other 16 moves are all weaker against 1.e4 to varying degrees.
I only care to play 1...e5 or 1...e6, but that is personal preference.
You are just kidding yourself if you truly think the Caro-Kann "is the best". There is no best, and all 4 moves are equally good, and which one works for one person may not be the same as which one works for someone else.
I think it is the best. What about you?
