How'd Topalov do agin Kramnik with it in that game?
Yeah, it seems to take a long time before it gets exciting. Although, I see several moves in, 5.d4, when white moves the 2nd pawn in the middle, that Black's first reaction is probably to snap the other pawn off quickly...which is a minor blunder...where white can get a pawn ahead and possibly swap Q's...yep, getting exciting. Beats the fire outta the dull Petroff. I'm starting to like it.
It's nice to have something to throw back at Black's attempt at the Petroff, and if they haven't played against it, is it sound and/or a good attacking game for White? I"m just looking into it; does it have traps that Black may fall into if they don't play sharply?
