Is the Traxler Counter attack really good against the Fried Liver?

I have beaten people with the traxler counter attack but I'm not really sure why the engine says that it's losing for the person who does it.
With best play, it leads to a perpetual draw though the theory is really dense and insane & honestly I don't see how practical it is to play it because it can deviate in so many ways to reach a very unclear position
