The title says it all really, I use the iPhone app and notice that on PC there is a comprehensive opening book that allows you to play through and study openings. This is absent on the iPhone app, unless I'm missing something ?
Wouldn't this be a great feature for the app ? How come it's not there ?
Thanks in advance.
It is a difficult task to provide a database lookup app but there are apps like those from chessbase that reportedly do it.
I personally find the lookup of players win/loss data on various lines one of the best things on the site.

However, people have never reported much use of that here in the forum and if that is representative of overall use, it would be unlikely for such functionality to rise to the top of the priority list for chess.com developers.
At any rate, I use an Android phone and it is easy to use the chrome phone browser for that function.
