is this a good opening to use?

3.Bxf7+ is a mistake. You lose a valuable and developed piece for a pawn and an exposed King wich you cannot attack as the rest of your pieces are undelveloped. Instead of sacrificing you Bishop you should develop another piece. Try 3.Nf3 for a very welknown and fine position with lots of attacking possibilities.

oh thanks! although I feel like I use Vienna game or Giuoco Piano games as openings a lot though. is there any other opening you can recommend that I could maybe try?

Yes. Eg. the Scotch. But why? After 1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nc6 3.Nf3 Bc5 you play the Evans Gambit 4.b4 and after 3...Nf6 you play 4.Ng5 or 4.d4 and has all the fun in the World! Just don't play the boring d3 variations.
You don't need to add another White 1...e5 opening. There will be a lot to learn from studying your games. If you just love to learn new openings then focus on your Black openings and your White answers to 1...c5, 1...e6 and 1...c6.

when looking at your recommendations on an analyzer I noticed this one says best line is to go 5. Bxf7+ Kxf7 6. Nxe5+ Kg8 (or Ke8) 7. Qxe4. I guess I was just pushing the bishop to f7 too early. but thanks for your help!

The computer literally tells you that Bxf7 is a mistake...
So you have your answer.
And btw, at 600 elo, you shouldn't be looking for new openings. You just need to keep it simple and respect the principles of opening.
And stop playing in blitz if you actually want to get better at chess. Play longer games, at least 10 minutes.
so I’m trying to use new openings and there was one that I had stopped using because I was losing a lot of games with it.
