How would White attack f7 ?
Kings indian f7 weakness

The light-squared bishop in most variants of the KID doesn't end up on c4 iirc.
Alright, i probably just played a bad response to that move

A lot depends on the Variation played.
In the Mar Del Plata, ...Re8 is not good. Advance ...f5 and ...Rf7, often going to g7 or h7.
That said, I can only think of one case where Black would go ...Re8 and White could attack f7 with the Bishop, and that is in the Four Pawns Attack.

what about Nbd7 before Re8?

Too slow. Impedes the development of the rest of your queenside pieces. If you do not want to play the aggressive but risky line 9...Re8, you need to play 9...Bg4 first, attacking the f3-knight, and looking to gain control of e5. Only after this Bishop is developed to g4 should ...Nbd7 be played, again, to stop e5 by White.
When playing the kings indian, after casteling i play my rook from f8 to e8 to make it active. this does leave the f7 pawn only protected by the king. How do i defend the f7 pawn, or should i leave my rook on f8?
