1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 d6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Nxd4 Nf6 5 Nc3 g6 6 f4

The line is 6...Nc6 (6...Bg7 is playable but not fully satisfactory)
7 Bb5 Bd7 8 Bxc6 bxc6 9 e5 dxe5 10 fxe5 Ng4 11 Bf4 Bg7 12 Qe2 Qb8

DO you mean the Levinfish vs. the Sicilian Dragon?  When giving names it helps to give positions or moves to keep it clear.

Yes, 6. ... Nbd7 is also pretty solid and it avoids a lot of trouble (preventing things like Bb5+ or e5), and I've never found a lot of theory on this line. I've got a Batsford book called 'Sicilian Dragon: Classic and Levenfish Variations' by DN Levy, but it's not very recent (1981). Does anybody know of an updated version?

Ahh, now I see, in the line given its not 1. e4 e5 as written but rather 1. e4 c5.  When I get home I'll take a look at my library.  I think I have the Levy book and one other.  The basic idea being the Levinfish is dangerous if Black is not prepared but bad for white if he is.
