The closed sicilian- 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3- very solid choice to avoid massive theory and get a pretty good initiative.
The rossolimo- 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5- I know nothing about this but the name.
Wing gambit- 1.e4 c5 2.b4?!
Alapin sicilian- 1.e4 c5 2.c3- another choice that gets a modest edge.
smith-morra gambit-1.e4 c5 2.d4 cd 3.c3 dc 4.Nc3 gains development and open files for the pawn.
A line a frequently use when i see the Sicilian defense as white is 1.e4 c5 2.nf3 d6 3.bc4
A problem i have been having though is through the ever popular 1.e4 c5 2.nf4 nc6 line i was wondering what a good anti Sicilian was for that. i try Bc4 but do not get the same results as i usually do. Any tips?
