i orderd that book, first steps the french.

i did get another book by cyrus lakdawala, but i didnt like his writing technique. weird jokes and sense of humour.

Neil McDonald's introductory book on the French Defense is excellent...much better than Lakdawala.  McDonald is an expert on this defense.
