A friend of mine, David Jonkman - all credit goes to him - , found the following novelty in the Caro-Kann. Although white really can't force anything more than a draw (I'll discuss only one variation), the game becomes a complete minefield.
Black had other possibilities than 17...Rfe8 (Bd8, Bd6...) but with this we reach the critical position.
18. Rxe6!?
White can simply force a draw here; 24. Qh6+ Kg8 25. Qg6+ Kf8 16. Qh6+, etc.
For those of you who thought; 24. Qh6+ Kg8 25. Qg6+ Kh8?.., we get an very interesting endgame in which I favour white.

26. Ng5! Bc5 27. Qxf6+ Qg7 28. Qxg7+ Kxg7 29. dxc5...
I'll stop here so we have something to talk about. Any other suggestions are more than welcome.
Kind regards!
