Middle Game Sicilian theme question...I think.

Ok, this happens all the time when I'm playing the Sicilian and White is using the English or...Yugoslav?  At any rate...my question is about Black's next move...  particularly the pawn situation Kingside.

Moving the h pawn anywhere at this point seems like a bad idea, but I always feel compelled to "do something" over there.  Is it best to just leave things as they are and move the knight when it is attacked?  What is Black's best move in this situation?

I thibk u should play something like b5.If white attacks your knight,u can simply move it away.

In such positions you must aware of h6, since it gives white attack after opening h-file, like h4, g5.

Ne5 - >Nc4 is good here

You could consider ... Nxd4 Bxd4 and then Bc6 which would give your N a square on d7 and reroute it for your qside play. I think d7 is a better square for this N than e8 or h5. You are correct to reject ... h6 as then white's g5 will force open lines of attack against your K .

Reb's line is what my instincts say here too. Generally in these Sicilian positions, if White is going to play g5 hitting your knight, you want to have d7 free for it to retreat to.

From d7 the knight has plentiful options - to either e5 or c5, or perhaps after ...b5 to b6 and a4/c4.
