Yes, the 4...Ne7 line is trappy.  I have never played it, preferring 4...Bc5 and finding my own off-the-wall trap.

I would consider the Berlin if I played 1...e5. Looking on Lichess, if they do play d3, then I have a 50-50 chance of this trap working. I also love how I've never heard of it and is still sound if they don't blunder into the trap. Very hard to find them these days

Yeah, most traps you have to have your opponent do the exact moves that you want them to for it to work
