How is it the most powerful opening?????? I could say the Schneider gambit is the most powerful opening for white
Every gambit is strong (except for dumb ones) the kings gambit is the king of the centre

The Scotch Gambit is not powerful at all. All it has is a few cheap shots that Amateurs who don't know the theory will fall for.
In reality, it's nothing.

The Scotch Gambit is a great opening. Though it has nothing to offer, save cheap tricks, it's glory is undiminished. Pity the lost souls who, deluded and befuddled, choose to play 1.d4,1.c4, 1. b3...or any such trash, rather than play a 1.e4 gambit. Safe and solid positional chess-- played by the fearful--- players who will never hear the carnyx or the sound of the war horses charging into battle.
HEH tennison gambit will work for a short time this won't work on strong players
