Hello all
I may be having a moment of senility but I have the vague memory of seeing an article online where someone had taken a large database of games and analysed how many moves were played before the first out of book move was played. This was then plotted versus Elo. Has anyone else seen this article and could point me at it? I just can see m to find it again.
