На данный момент живу и работаю во Франции.
By playing Nc3 you deny yourself the opportunity of challenging the center by c4. On the other hand, it helped to push e4, but you did not.
If you don't want to play c4 straight away, then the usual development tabiya is Nf3/d4/e3/Bd3/b3/Bb2/Nbd2 (the Knight not blocking the diagonal of the dark-squared Bishop).
