Yes, but I just find it a bit odd that you would put down 1996 as your date of birth on your profile.

3 possibilities in this thread

1.) Poster is pulling our legs REALLY well.

2.) Poster is indeed a young 9 year old lad who knows nothing about chess (nor his date of birth) yet but is endearingly cute in his attempts to progress in the game.

3.) Poster is... yea, no polite way to say this. RR is getting flak for it already I see.

Yea, so come out clean Sharpieman2... we're all more than just a little curious. By the way, like the other posteres have said, that is NOT a good opening. If you want to learn why we ALL say this, we will be more than happy to TEACH you why. However this is a two way street: don't keep saying its a good opening because you think it is. ASK us to understand why.

But before I go I will say that what RR said was still (again) grossly out of order. The original poster turning out to be a well.. you know ttro.. no I can't say it , many comments later doesn't make what RR said any more decent. Especially considering that a kid (?) just arsing around on one forum is nothing compared to RR's repeated idiocy on the forums..

I cannot change my date of birth to 1999, which is the year I was born. 1996 is the most recent birth date I can put for my account.

Sharpieman I suggest you analyze a few real openings. This might help you get a good understanding of how openings work and you will be able to fix your errors in openings.

personally, i think this opening is great for a middle school 6th grade annual chess competition at Sklsjflskdjfdslkfjf middle, but there's no need to call preteens idiots just because they invented such an opening

Though good point on the 1996 date... site only allows 13 yr olds and up w/o parental guidance.

Good attempt, but why not try to humble yourself for a bit and ask us about openings instead of claiming to know a lot about chess? It's a BAD opening. This just in; the young Mr Sharp has challenged me to a game so we have a game going now (on-line format, not "live"). We'll see how it turns out. Right now I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.
