My Refutation To The Fried Liver!

Just a heads up, that's not even close to the fried liver. If it reminds of anything it's the Loli you are confusing it with.
mromanian

Yes, that is not the Fried Liver and you could have made mate many moves earlier and many mistakes were made.

KholmovDM

The Liver comes from the Italian game, and this is the Philidor.

Kinda makes ya wonder about the legitimacy of Roberts ratings.

Here's a game I played as black against a Patzer. He made dumb move after dumb move.

Hmmm... nobody here has given the best move for Black. Ke8 is Bad, Kg8 instantly loses. Most don't even get the move order right. What a great thread worthy of attention!

Lol, this is a joke thread. Everyone knows that Ke6 is bad.

While I'm at it, doing some trolling, what do you guys think about this "improvement"?

I just wanted to show those people who say they've refuted the Sicilian with:

This is a fantastic trap in the fried liver

Cubetacular

The the number of people of who don't understand that this is a joke blows my mind. The OP even says how much of a troll he is and people still don't get it...

Are you friends with TheBackyardProfessor?

PRESSALTF4

When white plays Ng5, why doesn't black take the pawn with the knight?

Robert_New_Alekhine

Then Nxn.

The Sicilian is shown to be ineffective attempt to win by White with 2. d4. Top GM'S decline with the much safer Alapin as shown in the last tournament by Anand.

This is old news. I've been defending 1. e4 with 1. ... f6! for years to avoid the Fried Liver.

Have you heard of the Fred Defense, 1...f5? That's a better option. If white takes 2.exf5, then the main moves are 2...Nf6 and 2...Kf7, but I recommend that you play 2...g5!!, which wins immediately.

No, I don't play the Fred ever since I found out that Black has a forced win in 18 after 1. e4, f5!!! - that's why the Defence is banned in serious competition, although most people don't find this out until they actually get their first GM norm. Lesser mortals, of course, don't generally know the winning line, which begins...

You know what, I've said too much already. Wait, there's someone at the door, I'll just se
