If you want to play e4 then ponziani is a good versitile unknowen and not many pepole no wat to do against it untill the high levels it goes e4 e5,nf3 nc6,c3 d6,d4 ed, qa5+ Bd7 or you can play the centre came e4 e5, d4 ed, qxd4 nc6,qe3 nf6, nc3 bb4,bd2 oo,ooo re8,qg3!

Oh, I see. Nbd2 loses the pawn. I was thinking that after 7. Bd2 Bxd2, then 8. Nbxd2.
