It's an interesting line, but hardly a refutation. The win rate goes down quite a bit if Black plays ...Nd4 and ...a6. Still, it's worth playing. If nothing else, it will retain a small advantage and make your opponent think.
It is a Good sideline but it should not be considered a refutation. A refutation on the sicilian can be made on specifically dubious lines (like the brussels gambit) but not in 1. E4 c5 2. Nc3 nc6. But still, this is a good way to play against the sicilian
It’s good. The Tiviakov is very nice especially for club level
What do y’all think about this. In the opening explorer the win rate is really good and I personally like it too. kinda like a closed Rossolimo. Thanks!
