I've used the 3...c5 line in 5 minute games for a while. 4.c3 is the simplest, transposing into an Alapin Sicilian. But it can get tricky
after 1e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3d4 C5
This give black a new variation versu the modern line of the alekhine defense with ideas coming from the benoni. I came up with the idea myself and I only found 2 game using this opening in a chess game data base. I would like if any of you could try it out.
