Agreed. There’s no conditional moves either, which is a feature on the Android app AND the website, with iOS being the only one to have it missing. In addition, the game chat has been updated to only show TEN messages, meaning that you can’t have real conversations. The iPhone app is overall just lower quality than the other two, I believe.

exactly, I believe it needs a remodel

There are threads requesting conditional moves on iOS going back to 2013!! I just let my paid membership lapse because it’s clear chess.com doesn’t intend to improve the app. Coincidentally they had made a major change to the game review system recently but it made it WORSE.
Social parts:
Bios are missing
Last time online is missing
Messages section is skinned down to plain text
Clubs are missing (more later)
Probably more I missed…
Gameplay:
Easier to “mouse slip”/ miss place pieces.
ONLY Normal and 960.
I can’t think of much else atm.
Clubs….
You can’t see others clubs
Live chat doesn’t work
It’s jittery a lot.
Also, my biggest complaint is the fact that multiple sections SUCH AS the clubs section is not even the app, it’s just an embedded browser link to chess.com, or twitch
The only positives I can think of is the offline usage. Which allows you to do bots and puzzles.
There is more, but I can’t remember it right now…
