Well there is the King's Gambit. It's a very old opening and used by tons of grandmasters. You need good skill to use this opening, though, as it immediately sacrifices your pawn. There is also the possibility of your opponent declining the Gambit, which is something you must be ready for.

there's also 1...e4 then c5 by black. Never seen its threat but its pretty popular... so yeah.

Yes. They're just different variations of the same opening; different ways for the opening to play out.
