opening idiots

So irritating those players in blitz who just have a crazy stupid opening full of tricks learned by head and just relying that you cannot find the answer in 3 minutes. Imo has nothing to do with chess and all these luckfinders go on blocked indeed.

Don't be ridiculous or don't play blitz! blitz.png

All true and i'm very weak in openings and rather in general chess as well but I suspect I meet a lot of stronger players on seperate experimental accounts it is frustrating.

May I ask why you do not play longer games?

Opening tricks are not forced, it are tricks so don't fall for them. The solution is to be careful in the beginning and to play good moves. Always look at your own moves instead of the moves of your opponents :). If you blunder in the opening or can't reach a middle game in 3 minutes, it is not you but your opponent who deserves that win.

You won't be much of a chess player if you don't develop your ability to refute bad moves. If you keep losing to dubious lines, you should be figuring out how to refute them.

Dude that Philidor game you played, how do you not know that line? I always play an early d4 against it. Then allowing the queen trade and hanging f7 to a knight fork taking your rook. Like what? This is basic. You're the one playing bad openings and they are refuting you, not the other way around.

Lol at my previous accounts most of my opponents who play the Philidor Defense fall for the Legal mate
