Opening information

I just looked it up, and it looks like it is mainly a transpositional tool to reach something similar to a QGD. Here is what it looks like with black to move on move 5 after 1. c4 e6 2. Nf3 d5 3. b3 Nf6 4. Bb2 c5 5. e3:

Thanks for the info, Jeremy. I just found some other resources and looked up some games on TWIC. It seems to revolve around several exchanges in the center with the main goal of giving Black an isolated d-pawn. I sort of like the positions four or five moves past the position on your board where you stopped. But that's the way I like to play--not too agressive, but hopefully solid.
BTW, congrats on your chess lately. I've been following your results from a distance and am wondering when you have time for studying and classes???
Later,
Steve
I ran across an opening sequence of moves called the English Wimpey System. Does anyone know of this opening or can share any information about it?
