Opening practise

Hi everyone,

Let me first introduce myself. I'm Erwin, 35 years old, working as an engineer and living in a village in The Netherlands.

I'm really into chess at the moment. But to improve my game I would like to have somebody to practise openings with. Just play games with some openings agreed bij forehand.

For example hereby some openings I would like to practice.

*Ruy Lopez opening

* Some d4-d5

*Sicilian defence

*French defense

*And many more

Send me a message if you are eager to participate.

Thanks!

Well, a few suggestion, a good d4 d5 opening is the colle system or the stonewall attack, on youtube ichess has great videos on both. I prefer the Caro-Kann to the French, as the dark square bishop can become trapped in blacks own pawn chain in the French. The Sicilian is great, and two version which I find to be the most fun are the French variation, as there are many lines where an unprepared opponent (even some strong players) can become hopelessly trapped and down material. The Lasker-Pelikan Variation is also fun. Lastly, the King's Indian attack, and its black counter part, the King's Indian defense are very solid, and in bullet is very easy to play as many moves are easy to remember and crank out. Cheers!
