Openings if one likes theory?

Hi! I have noticed that players at my level or even a bit higher have less opening knowledge than me in most of the lines we play. Which openings should I go for if I normally have an opening theory advantage?

As white 1 e4 seems the most obvious choice and go main lines in all. Right?

I have played the English for quite some time as well but with 1 e4 I have many brutally crushing wins right out of the opening. Sure, there are some brutal losses but my win percentage is higher and easier in 1 e4 compared to 1 c4. 1 c4 however is uncommon for my opponents to face but not as critical.

As black it is more difficult. I have played Caro-kann/slav defence against e4/d4. The slav defence has served me more well than Caro-kann where I seem to get attacked and mated more often. I'm thinking Slav defence is a good way to go against d4 still but against e4 I am think if I should switch to e5?

I am sceptical to playing the Sicilian because of the brutal attacks on my king. The positions are so complicated that I feel that it is sometimes more luck than correct calculation that makes a win or loss. I think I like contesting the center directly on move one and play on more equal terms in the center (right?). Also I would like the opening choices to be fast developing on good squares so I can punish passive/do-nothin/no theory openings. So, most main lines after 1 e4 e5?

Any ideas appreciated, thanks!
