Scotch Gambit (for white pieces). 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 exd4 4. Bc4. Good opening when played against people rated 500 to 1000. Aggressive, and allows to castle early, which gives it defensive advantages. It’s what I usually play. Works most of the time

You are not always assured a Scotch Gambit.
4...Bc5 is the Scotch Gambit
4...Nf6 is merely a direct transposition to the Two Knights Defense.
So guys here we can try different opening plans and ideas
